GSK Science in the Summer: Be a Chemist! In-Person
GSK's Science in the Summer will take place on Thursday, July 23rd from 10am until 3pm at the Conshohocken Free Library. Space is limited to 20 participants. Please register each child separately. PLEASE let us know if your plans change and you need to cancel. We will offer your spot to another child on the waitlist.
Things to Know:
Drop off at the library begins at 10am and children must arrive by 10:30am. Pick up is at 3pm.
Children should be entering Grades 2 to 5 as of Fall 2026.
Children may be taken to Mary Wood Park or Library Lawn to complete some activities.
Children should bring a snack, lunch and refillable water bottle.
If your child is sick 24 hours before SIS date, please keep them home and notify us of cancellation.
2026 Science in the Summer Theme- Be a Chemist!
The Be a Chemist program invites children to take on the role of scientists as they investigate the various jobs that are available to them in the field of Chemistry. The activities encourage children to practice scientific techniques and explore the following careers: Cosmetic Chemist, Forensic Chemist, Materials Chemist, Medicinal Chemist, and Water Chemist.
Registration opens July 1 at 12pm!
