Half Day Matinee In-Person
Throughout the 2024-2025 school year, we'll schedule a family friendly movie during a Colonial School District half day. Join us in the community room at 1pm for the movie of the day. Registration is not required but all attendees should sign in. Space may be limited.
Children age 8 years and older may be dropped off at this event as long as the library is able to reach their responsible adult. Anyone under age 8 years must have a person age 14 years or older with them. Working parents/caregivers? We'll set up tables in the back of the community room for you to quietly work while monitoring children with you watching the movie. Connect to the wifi using network CON Community Room and accept internet use policy.
September 20 will be Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. This movie is rated PG-13 for supernatural action/violence, language and suggestive references. It has run time of 1 hour and 55 minutes.
About the Movie:
The Spengler family returns to where it all started- the iconic New York City firehouse- to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who've developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient atifact unleashes an army of ghosts that casts a death chill upon the city, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.
