Helping Your Child Manage Their Emotions with Adrienne Bishop In-Person
FREE WORKSHOP: HELPING YOUR CHILD MANAGE THEIR EMOTIONS with Adrienne Bishop - April 2nd at 6:30pm at Conshohocken Free Library
Dealing with toddler tantrums? Kids that are refusing to go places? Are you feeling helpless when your kids are screaming, yelling, freaking out, melting down? Do you have kids that won't talk to you or shut down when they are mad? Are you noticing the start of pre-pubescent sassiness or school anxiety or teen angst?
Then this workshop is for you!
After coaching many families, and being a mom of 3 myself, I am convinced that the key to reducing misbehavior is to help our children learn how to manage their emotions using calm, confident energy, connection, and modeling managing our own emotions.
If that's all we do, we have set our kids up for life success.
The problem is there was no parenting course on emotions before we had kids. This was not a requirement in school. This was not even a college course.
But you're in luck.
In this workshop, you will learn how to handle your kids when they get upset, talk back, are sassy, rude or disrespectful. You will learn how to help your child when they are anxious, sad or angry in a way that actually WORKS to help them get to calm.
You will learn what the actual cause is when your child misbehaves and how to solve it.
You will learn what are the two most important needs to fill in your kids to PREVENT the meltdowns and what to do WHEN they happen in a way that doesn't drain your energy or stress you out.
