Science in the Summer

Science in the Summer In-Person

Science in the Summer is here! 

Children entering 3rd grade - 6th grade are invited to join us for an exploration and investigation of the many ideas and careers in the field of health sciences. The children will be led through activities that practice the scientific techniques and explore the careers of Cardiologists, Dietitians, Epidemiologists, Athletic Trainers, and Orthopedic Doctors.

Please Note:

  • Science in the Summer will take place across three days. Please register ONLY if your child is able to attend all three days of the program. Sessions will be 1.5-2 hours in length.
  • Children should be entering grades 3 to 6 at the beginning of the Fall 2025 school year (also known as "rising"). 
  • Children should wear closed-toe shoes and bring a refillable water bottle with them. 
  • Children must be dropped off and picked up by an adult. 
  • If you need to cancel your registration for any reason, please contact the library as soon as you can. 
  • There are limited spaces available for Science in the Summer program. Registration for the program is REQUIRED. Please register each child individually. 
  • There is a waitlist available but it is not guaranteed that we will have additional spaces. You will be notified 24 hours prior to the event if you have been moved off of the waitlist.
