Creative Critters Drawing Workshop with Mr. David C. Perry In-Person
Patrons ages 8 - 18 are invited to attend this fun workshop. Artists of all abilities are welcome.
"Creative Critters" Cartooning Workshop
In the big, wide wonderful world of cartoon characters (in comics, movies and video games) few things are more popular than cartoon animals – from Garfield to SpongeBob to Dog Man. Led by artist Mr. David C. Perry, in a fun and positive atmosphere, we’ll draw and discuss everything from cute little pets to outrageous fantastic beasts like unicorns and dragons. All materials are provided and everyone gets step-by-step instruction, hands-on helpful hints and an array of cool resources for onsite and future inspiration.
WORKSHOP LEADER::
Mr. David C. Perry worked for several decades as an illustrator, graphic designer and art director in publishing and marketing before becoming a full time independent artist and musician. He has conducted many popular cartooning workshops at such venues as Limerick Township’s summer camp, Bright Horizons schools and the Wissahickon Valley Public Library. He is well known in the region as caricaturist and for his popular comical concerts of "Mr. David's Drawings, Songs & Silliness." www.MrDavid.com
