Milkweed Seed Bombs

Milkweed Seed Bombs In-Person

MILKWEED SEED BOMBS

This is a PVSD School's Out Program

Monday October 20th @ 11am

in our lower level auditorium

Miss Lizzie will be joined by a local Master Gardener to present this hands-on learning experience for curious library kids - ages 3+.

We will learn about the stages of a butterfly life cycle, the migration of the monarch butterfly and the importance of preserving native plants.

We have stories to share and hands-on learning opportunities to explore.

We’ll end our program getting our hands dirty as we mix and form milkweed seed bombs. Kiddos will be able to take these home and they can be tossed into areas where we want milkweed to grow AFTER THE FIRST FROST.

Join us to learn more!
